Justin started out in the landscaping industry at the age of 15 by mowing yards in his neighborhood. These humble beginnings using equipment borrowed from his dad are the roots of what has become the Earthtones of today.  Justin secured an irrigation license during his freshman year of college while attending University of Texas at Arlington and began pursuing installation projects. After deciding college was not the correct route, Justin decided to further pursue the landscaping industry and brought on several of the key crew members who still lead projects today, 20 years later.  “At one time we were running Earthtones out of the mobile home I was renting and we only had one truck, which was my truck, so we made do and I would pick up and drop off the guys every day.  Now I’m surrounded by the best talent in our industry and see those same guys driving out as part of a huge fleet and it reminds me of where we came from.  Those memories help keep me grounded in our core values and focused on keeping our people as our top priority.
